Full Description
Wildland Medical Provider is a new TAMFS certification course designed to prepare EMS professionals to operate in the wildland fire environment. This class covers communicating, navigating, and maintaining situational awareness while accessing, treating, and extracting sick and injured wildland firefighters.

Firefighter Type 2 (FFT2) qualified

Prerequisites
• Current medical professional license.
• Qualified NWCG FFT2 or equivalent

Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)  - Compliant wildland firefighting gear, certified to 1977 Standard, including a helmet with chinstrap, boots, and gloves)

**Each student enrolled in Wildland Medical Provide MUST provide an equipment list that meets the minimum requirements for WPU and/or REMS.**
