Red River Valley Wildfire Academy - L-280 Followership to Leadership

Full Description: This training is designed as a self-assessment opportunity for individuals preparing to step into a leadership role. The course combines one day of classroom instruction followed by a second day in the field with students working through a series of problem solving events in small teams. Topics includes: leadership values and principles, transition challenges for new leaders, situational leadership, team cohesion factors, and ethical decision making. Target group for this course is personnel desiring to be qualified as a single resource boss.

Prerequisites: Pre-course work completion
Successful completion of L-180, Human Factors in the Wildland Fire Service

Signup Details: Course Cost:  $200
Payment is due upon check-in at the Red River Valley Wildfire Academy.  Do not pay Texas A&M Forest Service.
